The Management of CHATURYUG (Four Epochs)
The benefit of the New year is just like taking bath in the holy river the Ganga or the solar eclipse .On the beginning of the new year our body remains healthy and with no disease by consuming the tender leaves of Neem tree mixed with cuminseed, black pepper, asafoetida (Heeng)and a little salt.
According to Shrimad Bhagwat Puran the age of Brahma who gets his birth from Purushottam Bhagwan Vishnu is one hundred years.This age of Brahma is divided into twp parts – former fifty years and latter fifty years.There is one Chaturyugi of Satyug, Treta, Dwapur and Kaliyug.Thus a day of Brahma is one thousand years and the night of one thousand years.One thousand days of Brahma is equal to one Ghati of Vishnu.There is half Kala of Shiva made up by twelve lacs of Ghatis of Vishnu.There is one Brahmakshar of one billion half Kalas.
According to Solar theory the age of Brahma who is the sole creator of the wholw creation is one hundred years. By now half of his age has expired .Hence the first half of his age is over. Now the period of the first month, the first day, the first fortnight and thirteen Ghatis, forty two Pals and three Akshars of the first day is over. According to sage Vyas fourteen Manus rule in one day of Brahma. The names of these Manus are as follows:-
1-. Swambhuv Manu, 2- Swarochis Manu, 3- Uttam.4- Tamas,5- Raivat. 6- Chakshus. 7- Vaivaswat. 8- Savarni, 9- Daksh Savarni, 10- Brahma Savarni, 11- Dharma Savarni, 12- Rudra Savarni, 13- Dev Savarni, and 14- Indra Savarni.
By now a period of six Manus of the first day of Brahma is over. Now the period of seventh Manu that is Vaivaswat Manu is running.28th Chaturyugi is running. The period of Satyug, Treta and Dwapar is over. Now the first phase of Kaliyug that is going on. And 5111 human years are over and 426889 years are left. One Manu consists of 71 Mahayug. The kingdom of 14 Manus is called one Kalpa . In the end of every Kalpa there is the period of transition.This transition is equal to the period of one year of Satyug. In the beginning of every Kalpa there is Brahma Kalpa and in the end there is Pad Kalpa . In this way there are 32 Kalpas in all.
The Origin of Yugas-
Kritiyug i.e. Satyug – Satyug began in the noon time of latter part of Kartik on the ninth day which was Wednesday and Shravan Nakshatra Dhriti Yog.The total age of this period including the period of transition is 1728000.During this period there was the birth of four incarnations which are – Matsya, Koorma, Varah and Nrisinh.
1- Matsya Avatar – It happened on Chaitra Krishna 5, Wednesday, Mool Nakshatra . Siddhiyog, in the evening.It came into the world with a view to kill Shankasur demon and to protect the Vedas.
2- Koorma Avatar – It took its birth in vibhav Samvatsar on the 12th day of Jyeshtha Krishna Paksha ,Sunday . Rohini Nakshatra , Dhriti yog in the evening time.This incarnation was necessitated to lighten the burden of the earth and to give comfort and happiness with the help of the remaining burden of the earth.
3- Varah Avatar – Varah Avatar came into existence in Shukla Samvatsar on the 13th day of Chaitra Krishna Paksha,Sunday, Dhanishtha Nakshatra, Brahma Yog in the noon time.The purpose of this incarnation was to take out the earth that was submerged in the sea with the help of its teeth.
4- Narsinh Avatar – Narsinh took his birth in Angira Samvatsar on the 14th day of Vaishakh Shukla Paksha , Sunday, Vishakha Nakshatra , Variyan Yog in the evening time This incarnation took its birth to kill Hiranyakashipu and to save Prahlad.
The Management of Kriti Yug i.e. Satyug –
The characteristic feature of Satyug was that the age of a person was one lac years, height 21 hands, golden body ,the use of material made of gems; one could have one’s journey to Brahmalok;the soul’s abode was in Brahmand;the food was divine;Pushkar ,the holy place was easily accessible to people;and the women were obedient to their husbands.All the Varnas were dutiful in their work.The kings of the demon dynasty were Ichchhuvak, Mandhata, Muchukand, Bhairav. Hiranaksha,Hirnaykashipu, Prahlad, Virochan, Bali, Nandak, Andhak ,Vanasur, Kapil , and Kapil Bhadra etc.,Brahmins were busy in the study of the Vedas and prayers of the Almighty; they were capable of showering their blessings, uttering their curses and bestowing on the people the gifts of their demand.But they were never interested in other people’s money or their wives.Cows used to give sufficient milk;there was ample water in the rivers;the earth was full of vegetation, grains and medicinal plants.Seeds were sown but once and produced crops many times.Trees were always full of fruits and flowers.There was solar eclipses for 32000 times and lunar eclipses for 500 times.There was all virtue and no sin.People were truthful and religious minded.Women were also virtuous.This was the golden age.
2- The Treta Yug-
It began on Vaisakh Shukla 3rd, Thursday, Rohini Nakshatra,Dhriti Yog.During this period three incarnations took their birth viz, Vaman, Parashuram and Ram.The total years of this age including the period of transition was 12,96,000.
Vaman Avatar – In Sarvajit Samvatsar Bhadra Shukla 12, Shravan Nakshatra, Shobhan Yog Vaman was born.In this age Vaman demanded three steps of earth from Bali.Bali had no place left for him. Consequently he had to go to Nether world i.e. Patal.
Parashuram –He was born in Sarvajit Samvatsar Vaisakh Shukla 3rd,Tuesday Poorva Bhadrapad Nakshatra and Variyan Yog.This incarnation was meant to subjugate the pride of proud kshatriyas and to help the Brahmins.
Ram Avatar – Ram was born in Taran Samvatsar, Chaitra Shukla 9th,Thursday, Punarvasu Nakshatra, Sukarma Yog,Kark Lagna in the noon time. King Dasharath was his father.This incarnation was meant for the resque of deities and killing of Ravan.
The management of this age –
In Treta Sins and Virtues were in the ratio of 5:15.The age of people was 10,000 years and and the height of their body was 14 hands.Utensils of silver were used,golden material was used.The soul was within the bones.Naimisharanya was the famous holy place..The women were obedient to their husbands. There happened 3200 solar eclipses and 500 lunar eclipses.All the people were dutiful.
During Treta the Kings who ruled were Suryavanshi Parighi,King Manu, Dhumax, Harishchandra,Rohitashwa, Sagar,Munj, Ashwa, Bhujja,Bhagirath, Dilip, Raghu, Aja, Dasharath, Ram Chandra,Kusha, Agnivarna and Meghdyuti,These kings had their access to Indralok.They were all the worshippers of The Almighty.They supported their subjects,were busy in doing Yagya; took divine food, and used to wear divine clothes.The villages of those people who committed offences were ruined. Brahmins used to read three Vedas.All were truthful,and prayed to God .They were indifferent to other people’s money and their wives.They were capable of giving blessings and uttering curses.Cows were milked three times a day.The rivers had three fourth water.The earth was full of riches.There was golden matter in them.Crops were sown once and gave yield for seven times.
Dwapar Yug – It began with Magh Krishna Amavasya, Dhanishtha Nakshatra,Variyan Yog at night.Dwapar Yug is there for 8,64,000 years.There were two incarnations of Krishna and Buddha in this age.
The incarnation of Krishna- In the Bhadra Krishna 8th, Wednesday, Rohini Nakshatra,Vriddhi Yog, Nisheeth kal i.e. midnight Lord Krishna was born.The main purpose of this incarnation was to kill Kans and other cruel kings and to safeguard the interests of Gops.
The incarnation of Buddha – This incarnation came into existence on Ashwin Shukla 10th,Wednesday.It meant for enchanting the demons.
The Management of Dwapar age – In Dwapar age virtues and vices were equally divided.The normal age of people was 1000 years.,their height 7 hands. The copper utensils were in use.Kurukshetra was the holy place of pilgrimage.The soul resided within the skin.The women of the age were full of craziness that their name being Shankhini.There were 320 solar eclipses and 50 lunar eclipses.All the Varnas were busy in their respective duties.
During this age there was the rule of King Som, Budh, Pururuva, Nal, Anal, Nahush, Shantanu, Chitra Veerya, Vichitra Veerya, Pandu, Yudhisthir, Abhimanyu, Parikshit and Janmejay of the Chandra dynasty.Their approach was upto Sumeru mountain.. Their food was divine and clothes were also divine.They were capable of showering blessings and uttering curses.The rivers were falf full of water.The earth was full of fauna and flora.The crops were sown once and harvested for seven times.Hence Dwapar is less superior to The Treta age.

The Management of Kaliyug:-
The Kaliyug commences in Bhadrapad krishna Paksha 13th , Sunday Shlesh Nakshatra and Vyatipat Yog at midnight.The total period of Kalikal is 432,000 years.In this age there is one incarnation in Sambhal country in the house of Gaud Brahmin Vishnu . The name of the incarnation is Kalki.In Kaliyug the proportion of virtues and vices is 5 : 15.The age of people is said to be 100 years.Their height is 3 hands.There will be use of earthenwares. and copper and iron will also be used.The main place of pilgrimage is the pious river the Ganga.The soul will rest in grain food.People will mostly be liars. The Varnas will not mind their repective duties.The milk of cows will become less and less.There will be little water in rivers and they will become dry.In Kaliyug Brahmins will not pay any attention to the reading of the Vedas. Women will be less chaste. Degraded people will act as ascetics and devalue asceticism.There will be numberless solar and lunar eclipses.The kings will no longer look to the welfare of their subjects.Brahmins will lose their character.Women will stand in opposition to their husbands.Sons will stand in opposition to their father.Thus there will be misery all round in Kaliyug.
The form of Kaliyug – Kaliyug has been depicted as demonic, very cruel,quarrelsome, holding his penis in his left hand and dancing with his tongue keeping out of his mouth.The earth will be without the river Ganga and people will worship ghosts and demons.
The saying of the Bhagirathi Ganga – I shall be flowing on this earth so long as Tulsi and Vishnu are worshipped.Till Jupiter remains in Nakshatra Mandal and the sea fire will remain in the sea I shall not leave this earth.I am bound by my promise till 10,000 years are left.
The ages of human beings and other creatures – The age of human beings will be 100 years,that of trees 1000 years, of cows and horses 32 years, camels and tigers 64 years,crows and serpents 1000 years,frogs 27 years,Vultures and lions 100 years,pigs 50 years, cocks 25 years,rats 5 years,hens 8 years. ponds and forts 1000 years, houses and villages 500 years and the age of those creatures which are born of sweat is 31 days.
There will be 6 kings to operate in the Kaliyug. 1-.Yudhisthir, 2- Vikramaditya, 3- Shalivahan, 4- Vijayabhinandan, 5- Nagarjun, and 6- Kalki.
The King Kalki – In the beginning of Kaliyug upto 3044 years there was the rule of Yudhisthir, Parikshit, Janmejay, Vatsaraj and Bhuvashwa etc., of the Chandravansha.Thereafter Suryawanshi kings Ashwapati, Gajpati, Narapati, Mahipati, Mahendra and Gandharvasen of Suryawanshi ruled.After Yudhisthir and after 3044 years in Ujjayaani there was the rule of Raja Veer Vikramaditya.He absolved the debts of all the people and started Vikrami Samvat.After that there came the rule of three kings on the southern bank of the Narmada. After 135 years from Veer Bhuj Shalivahan era there was the rule of six kings from Vidramaditya to Ramdev. .After 18000 years there will be the rule of Vijayanandan near rhe river Sindhu and after 10,000 years of that there will be the reign of Nagarjun in Dhara Thirtha.There will be the incarnation of Kalki after 4 lac years.During the rule of Shalivahan dynasty from Shalivahan to Narendra Shah there will be the rule of ten famous kings.During these years there was the rule of the king Timirling Shah, Babar, Humayun , Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan ,Aurangjeb, Bahadur Shah , Farukh Shah Alam and Jafar Shah.After that Queen Victoria , Edward VII, George V, After 40 years there will be the rule of alliance of parties with no policy of their own..
There will be dacoities , thefts, corruption and deceits.The government will exploit the poor prople.There will be atrocities.All the work will be done on paper only.There will be fraud everywhere. Inquiries, reports and everything will be false.There will continue atrocities on people and there will be no justice.Corrupt leaders will rule the nation.There will be rule of might is right.Then there will come the rule of Shudras.When 821 years will be left till the end of Kaliyug then there will be the incarnation of Kalki who will set everything right.
The Effect of 2067 Vikrami Samvatsar :-
The new year begins with Chaitra Shukla 1.This new year begins from Monday. The name of this year is Shobhan. This is the 7th Samvatsar of 60.The name of the 37th Samvatsar is Shobhan. 14 creation of Manu 195588111years have passed.Satyug 1728000 years, Treta 1296000 and Dwapar 86400 years.Then there is Kaliyug for 432000 years.Out of this 5111years have passed and 426889 years are left. There will be the rule of ten lords in the sky in the year of 1932 shaka of Veerbhuj Nripati Shalivahan.
1- King Mars, 2- Minister Mercury, 3- Sasyesh Saturn, 4- Dhanyesh Jupiter, 5- Meghesh Mars,6- Rasesh Moon, 7- Neersesh Venus,8- Falesh Bhaum, 9- Dhanesh Venus, 10- Durgesh Mars.
2- The effect of Shobhan Samvatsar – Venus is the lord of Shobhan Samvatsar.Hence there will be wide spread diseases, and sorrow among the people.Still then there will be ample rains and people will become prosperous and happy.There will be works of the welfare of people in the country.In Shravan there will be heavy rains but people will lead miserable life.In the month of Bhadrapad there will be thunder in great numbers and in the month of Ashwin there will be some disturbance after the famine.
1- The King Mars – Since Mars will be the king,there will be fear of fire,thefts and disputes among kings. and prople will suffer due to diseases and scarcity of rains..
2- Mercury ,the minister-By Mercury being the minister there will be prosperity everywhere .But the pulses will be costly.Women will remain inclined to sex life/.
3- Saturn the Sashyesh – Due to Saturn being Sashyesh there will be misery among the people.Battles and diseases will increase.People will remain indulged in sinful activities and useless debates.There will be shortage of food grans.
4- Jupiter, the Dhanyesh – On account of Jupiter being Dhanyesh there will be enough production of wheat, rice and pulses.Their cost will decrease.
5- Mars, the Meghesh - Mars being the Meghesh
Brahmins will be less interested in the study of religious books and the Vedas.There will be shortage of rains.in some places and heavy rains at other places.Hence there will be no balance..
6- Moon,the Rasesh – The Moon being the Rasesh people will remain absorbed in love affairs with their beloveds.The earth will have ample juicy things and prosperity as well.There will be enough rains on earth.
7- Venus, the Neersesh – Due to Venus being the Neersesh there will increase in the cost of camphor and other fragrant things,gold, pearls and white cloth
8- Mars, the Falesh – Mars being the Falesh the earth will be full of fruits and flowers.There will be no fear among the people and there will be much disputes among the kings.
9- Venus, the Dhanesh – Venus being the Dhanesh there eill be prosperity everywhere.Purchasers and sellers of goods both will be happy.and the kings will pay more attention to the welfare of people.
10- Mars , the Durgesh – Due to Mars being Durgesh people will remain unhappy on account of the separation of their near and dear. There will be fear in purchasing and selling of their goods by people in different parts of the world. Their efforts will be of no avail.
The effects of Meghas – Out of nine Meghas there is the Megh namely Pushkar.There will be no increase in the production of roots and vegetables etc because there will be scarcity of rains but there will be increase in sinful activities of people.Diseases will have wide effects upon them.
The Residence of Rohini – This year the residence of Rohini will remain near the sea shore on account of which there will be sufficient rains and agriculture products will increase.
Boat being the vehicle of Time – On account of Boat being the vehicle of Time there will spread suspicions among people .There will be more diseses among animals.There will be shortage of every thing in the whole world.The residence of Time this year will remain in the house of a washerman. Consequentltly tanks, wells, broad wells,rivers and forests all will be full of water.
